As wood is a natural material, it may change colour overtime as it comes into contact with water and products that get absorbed by the wood.
You can prolong the life of you comb and keep it in good shape by simply cleaning the comb under warm water after every use to remove any product and debris, and pat drying it with a clean dry cloth.
Do not leave your comb in a wet area as this may damage the material.
